Eucharist
The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life (LG 11).” “The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch (PO 5).” CCC #1324
"It was above all on the `first day of the week,` Sunday, the day of Jesus` resurrection that the Christians met `to break bread.` From that time on down to our own day the celebration of the Eucharist has been continued so that today we encounter it everywhere in the Church with the same fundamental structure. It remains the center of the Church`s life." CCC#1343

First Eucharist Preparation
The children of Visitation School and School of Religion prepare for and celebrate First Eucharist in second grade. As the primary religious educators of their children, parents are asked to participate in ongoing faith formation as well.
